Robert Downey Jr. stars as weapons mogul Tony Stark, whose flying suit of armor serves as a life-support system for him after a near-fatal explosion, in director Jon Favreau’s screen adaptation of the dark Marvel Comics series. Stan Winston Studio provided the suit, while visual effects supervisors John Nelson and Wesley Sewell oversaw effects from Industrial Light & Magic, The Orphanage and Gray Matter.

Director Andrew Adamson returns to C.S. Lewis’ fantasy world, where an evil king has usurped the throne of Narnia. Visual effects supervisors Dean Wright and Wendy Rogers oversaw effects created at The Moving Picture Company, Framestore CFC, Weta Digital and Scanline, with miniatures by Weta Workshop and practical creatures by KNB EFX Group. |

The Wachowski Brothers reunited with their Matrix series’ visual effects supervisors John Gaeta and Dan Glass to produce an effects-packed live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese animated TV series about an elite group of professional auto racers. Contributing to the visual effects were Digital Domain, Café FX, Rising Sun Pictures and a host of others. |
