a sequence in which Hopkins rescues the kidnapped daughter of
a powerful sheik, rooftop scenes were shot on a foreground set
in front of a bluescreen. Background structures, mountains and
sky were photographed as still images and mapped onto a 2½D
matte painting to permit perspective shifts on moving camera
shots. |
