most of Harryhausen's previous films, The 3 Worlds of Gulliver
required little stop-motion animation. Most of the effects,
which involved adventures among tiny Lilliputians and giant
Brobdingnagians, were accomplished with oversize and undersize
set pieces, split-screen photography and sodium-vapor traveling
